THE JEAN JACKET is TANAKA's signature denim jacket using sustainable selvage denim from Kaihara. Using carefully woven, made-in-Japan selvedge denim fabric that is made with weft thread from "ochiwata" salvaged cotton, these come to fit softly like a glove over time as you wear them. The jacket design has been updated to be even more modern, with clean-finish waist details for a sleek jean jacket. The beautiful blue color of these seemingly "well worn over many years" pieces is carefully processed and finished by craftsmen at our factory in Okayama.
