Holzweiler first started making our scarves in Florence a decade ago when we fell in love with a small factory and the traditional techniques used. This remains where our scarves are produced to this day. The Aster Stitch scarf is made from a brushed alpaca-blend and is detailed with a contrasting saddle stitch that lines the edges.

  • Composition: 80% Alpaca, 20% Nylon

Alpaca yarn is warm and comfortable against the skin: it does not sting and is hypoallergenic because it has no lanolin. Alpaca fiber is naturally water-repellent and fire resistant. It is normally mixed it with other fibers.

How to care for Alpaca: Alpaca should preferably be hand-washed. If you wish to machine wash your garment, turn garments inside out, choose the “wool” setting on your washing machine and use mild soap for wool (no bleach or fabric softener). Dry your wool items by laying them flat – don´t leave them wet in the machine.
